Football Nigeria- In the game played by First Bank Fc of Lagos against Abubakar Bukola Saraki side of Kwara state in the Nigeria National League (NNL) side, it was a loss for the Lagos side.
However, coach Osho Luqman has attributed their sides’ loss to Ramadan fasting done by his players. While speaking, he noted he got aware that majority of his squad were fasting during the break time. He also noted that he warned them not to fast on that Sunday, which they players didn’t do. This, as he said, caused them the 4-0 defeat to their hosts. First Bank Fc had earlier lost their previous game to Crown Fc before a second loss to A.B.S.
He as well applauded the Ilorin side that beat them.
