What Isn't Right With Chelsea FC This Season?

What Isn't Right With Chelsea FC This Season?

Jose Mourinho presumably didn't visualize it would be like this. The Portuguese saw his Chelsea side win two titles last season, crushing the Premier League's different heavyweights in a way that intimidated most clubs.

With Diego Costa a moment hit in the attack and Cesc Fabregas doing his best midfield expert skills, the Blues were near on relentless, not slightest, amid running described by the guarded strength of Mourinho's first team at Stamford Bridge.

So what went wrong?
The greater part of the players had a full summer off to rest and recovered. Chelsea marked Pedro, frustrating Manchester United. Certainly, Petr Cech and Filipe Luis were sold, yet there had all the squad of being a threat.

After ten games, the champions end up down in fifteen. The loss to the West Ham last Saturday was their fifth of the campaign in this way, Chelsea also ranked as having the worst defense this season.

They had a poor pre-season as far as planning, they returned a week later as Mourinho needed them to recover later in the season to stop them coming up short on gas like the last season.
In any case, they headed out to the States and returned undercooked, and that set up their poor begin and got them into their current situation.

Secondly They didn't purchase enough. They didn't simply require substitutions - they required fortifying to a maturing squad that additionally had shortcomings in key territories last season, similar to having a good striker and midfield. They didn't have a depth of value to challenge on more than one front.

Chelsea players are out of a structure. I've never seen Cesc Fabregas play so poorly. Diego Costa has quit battling. Also, that is by all accounts an issue all through the squad. The old Chelsea would be battling amongst themselves after this series of results. The truth of the matter is, they've not indicated a lot of an interest in the field to remedy the situation. One wonder if the players are still loyal toMourinho like they used to.

There is by all accounts a total absence of confidence in the midst of Mourinho and his players. It appears that key players no more hold their coach with the same respect they once did and were no more driven by him.

There is an ideal opportunity to cure the circumstance, obviously, yet the fall in structure has been ridiculous. Recently, there were bits of gossip about a fight between John Terry and Costa.Chelsea's structure is down to various reasons, as I would see it.
Defensively they are weak, having conceded more than 15 goals in their games, and any combination of Cahill, Terry, and Ivanovic just haven't had the same effect as last season.

Essentially, Chelsea is experiencing the same issues Manchester City had 12 months prior. They neglected to refresh their squad this late transfer window from their status as champions while rivals City spent enormously on any players like Sterling, De Bruyne, and Otamendi.

Again like City a year prior, their big names were not performing same with Chelsea this season, players like Hazard, Costa, Fabregas, Matic, Terry, and Ivanovic have been poor.
Chelsea's absence of huge name signings was somewhat why Jose Mourinho started the season poorly.

Can they hold their title? Actually no, not having given City a 12-point favorable position, despite the fact that there are still 30 games to go.

Mourinho is Chelsea's greatest resource - as he demonstrated last season - additionally their greatest liability - as he is demonstrating now.
When he is upbeat, Chelsea perform and succeed. When he is not, he grows strife and insecurity.

The title is gone, and history has all the earmarks of being repeating itself because the happenings of the most recent month were initially played out in August and September 2007, coming full circle in his flight.  Mourinho says it won't happen once more. However, he needs to quit battling with everybody and spotlight on making Chelsea victorious once more.

They are way behind Manchester City and Arsenal, 11 points off as of now,  They are not playing admirably and they'll need to concentrate on all games.

Notwithstanding I still tip Chelsea to complete the season second or third and win the Champions League.

Try not to bet against it.  Am persuaded they will overcome this phase. Smiles.....
