Mikel John Obi:"We are directly behind the coach".

Mikel John Obi says the players still have faith in Mourinho. "We are directly behind the coach," the midfielder said. "There's most likely about it. In preparing, we work hard. If anybody can turn this around, we unquestionably believe he's the one. A year ago we were champions. We won two trophies. José knows this club more than some other director. He's the best history in the club's history.

" I certainly feel that, if anything isn't right if anything can be corrected, he is the one. There's nobody out there that is going to come in and fix what's going on. On the off chance that you tell the team that we are not giving 100% then, there is the uncertainty, but rather we are giving 100%, we are playing for the coach, we are directly behind him.

It's just that things aren't going great, so everybody [outside] thinks him needs to go. I don't believe it's the right approach to go. I imagine that inside that changing area we certainly trust he is the man to change things. He knows this club in and out. He comprehends what's wrong, and it's simply a question of time before results begin coming. We are playing great; we are working hard in preparing. It's only the outcomes aren't coming."

Nice to see the players are supporting Mourinho, we know it's a horrible start to the season but sacking the coach now isn't ideal. If Chelsea FC aspires to be a great club, then they should learn to stick with their coaches and not just sack them when results aren't great.  Gret clubs and coaches do have these sort of set back sometimes; Sir Alex Ferguson did, Manchester United didn't sack him then. He turned Manchester to a great club after and still is.
