Paris: Away Fans Banned In French Football Until Mid-December

Away fans banned from all football matches in France until mid-December after the Paris assaults.

On 13 November, 130 lost their lives in a terrorist attack, with three suicide bombs outside Stade de France, when France hosted Germany in a friendly match.

French games proceeded the next weekend without away fans.

The Interior Ministry has extended the boycott because of an "absence of police powers accessible" amid the progressing highly sensitive situation and forthcoming climate change summit.

A French League (LFP) announcement said no away fans would be allowed in the fifteenth round of Ligue 1 matches, and the sixteenth round of Ligue 2 games this weekend.

It included another request would be issued soon applying the same procurements to all top football games in the nation the 10 December.

The United Nations Climate change summit is holding in the French capital from 30 November until 11 December.
