500,000 Condoms Shared At A Football Match In South Africa

South African National Aids Council, a state office (SANAC), shared 500,000 condoms to about 56,000 football supporters amid a match between two big football clubs played at the Durban, Moses Mabhida Stadium, the Presidency said on Thursday.

Condoms were shared amid Wednesday's Telkom Knockout (TKO) last between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, which occurred on Reconciliation Day in the Indian Ocean port city.
The Pretoria-based Sundowns beat their Soweto partners 3-1 to lift the TKO trophy.

The Presidency said the activity was a piece of SANAC's continuous crusade to advance safe ways of life in the nation, and to encourage South Africans to be reliable, responsible by using condoms in the battle against HIV and Aids.

Deputy President and SANAC Chairperson Cyril Ramaphosa recognized the match coordinators, backers, fans and the 25 volunteers who circulated the condoms for making the HIV mindfulness actuation a win, the Presidency said.
Ramaphosa  also wished all South Africans a protected and pleasant bubbly Christmas season.

I know what you are thinking right, Lol. Am sure some fans will be screaming we want more condoms after receiving more than 10 each. Yeah, play safe South Africans or better still abstain.
