Gay footballers would get respect  says- Premier League boss, Richard Scudamore

 Premier League boss Richard Scudamore, recently told BBC Newsnight Gay footballers in the premier league would be respected if they choose to reveal their sexuality publicly. He also said it would be suitable for them to come out and it was the right time to do get out of the closet.

There have been no openly gay male footballers in England since
Remember the Daily Mirror had reported some weeks that two players were set to come out, and their various clubs supported them.
Since, 1990 when the former Norwich striker Justin Fashanu came out of the closet, there has been no gay male player in England.

The initial active footballer to come out as a gay player in England since Fashanua was Former England women's captain Casey Stoney in 2014.

Are we going to see more Gay Players In game of football? Time will tell.
