Exclusive - Samuel Eto'o now a Coach at Antalyaspor, Turkey.

Samuel Eto'o given coaching opportunity at Antalyaspor

Ex-Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o has been named interim player-director at Turkish side Antalyaspor.

The 34-year-old striker, who joined Antalyaspor on a three-year contract in June, has been given three matches to awe in charge.

He assumes control from Yusuf Simsek, whose agreement was ended mutually on 7th December.

Antalyaspor will settle on a choice or whether to give Eto'o a longer contract after the winter break.

Eto'o will be guided and helped by Mehmet Ugurlu, who is the club's technical director

His former teammate, Patrick M'boma, conceded he was "astounded Eto'o has gone into management so soon and Eto'o, who he played along with in two Africa Cup of Nations-winning sides, has long held desire of turning into a coach.

"I know if it was in his plans to be a coach- he let me know numerous years prior," M'boma told BBC Sport.

Well from what we know, not sure he has experience. However some players have turned well as a coach,  trust he will be a decent coach, He has the identity and the player experience, But will he have the tolerance?

Wishing One Of African Finest The Best As A Coach.
